Dan Ryan Builders Celebrates Their 20th Anniversary


Frederick, MD (March 9, 2010)…Dan Ryan Builders is proud to announce their 20th Anniversary as a privately owned regional homebuilder. The Dan Ryan tradition of building well-crafted, affordable homes dates back more than 3 generations to the time when Dan Ryan's grandfather started building homes in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania.

Today, Dan Ryan Builders is one of the top 100 U.S. Homebuilders according to Builder magazine. Dan Ryan Builders constructs over 550 townhomes, villas, single-family detached homes and estate homes throughout the Mid-Atlantic each year. Founded in this region, Dan Ryan Builders has more than 40 communities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Many of their communities are strategically located along Rt. 15, I-70, and I-81 corridors as well as the MARC train, which makes commuting easy.

March 2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of Dan Ryan Builders and their commitment to quality, service and value. During the month of March, Dan Ryan Builders is offering 20 days of savings and up to $20,000 in incentives to commemorate their anniversary.

"The growth and success of Dan Ryan Builders over the years has allowed us to give back in ways we never could have if we weren't a private company," says Dan Ryan, owner. "Building quality homes is a key goal for us, but it is also the means by which we are able to make a difference in the communities we serve," he adds.

Some of the highlights of the past 20 years include:
• Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Dan Ryan Builders contracted and built a stately stone colonial in 106 hours at no cost for the Drumm family of Fayetteville, PA. The Drumms are very active in serving the special needs community in their region and they were living in a dilapidated home.
• Habitat for Humanity. Dan Ryan Builders has donated everything from labor and funds including the property the homes are built on for Habitat for Humanity throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
• Other Outreach. Dan Ryan Builders makes giving back a priority and has built parks, donated to relief efforts like Hurricane Katrina, has been the largest supporter of The Boys and Girls Club in Martinsburg, and has donated an ATV to troops in Iraq, just to name a few.

Dan Ryan Builders is one of a small handful of builders who have won the Builder of Integrity award several times from Quality Builder's Warranty Corporation. In addition to other local awards, Dan Ryan Builders is ranked highly with the Better Business Bureau, earning an A+ rating in many of the communities they serve.
