Thank you for your generous contribution of $1 50 to Walk MS 2008. Walk MS is the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter's signature fundraising event. Your support enables us to offer hope to the 6,500 Marylanders living with the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. This year we want to raise 1.5 million dollars through walk MS, and with your help, we are moving toward that goal.

Your gift moves us forward by helping us:

• Meet the needs of our members through educational programs and services
  like medical transportation, equipment loans, direct financial assistance and
  respite care
• add to the $46,000,000 the Society is investing annually in MS research
  around the globe including $8,200,000 right here in Maryland
• advocate for federal, state and local government programs essential to people
  affected by MS.
